Description

This is an 18th-century barn located at Rignall Farm. It is timber-framed, with a brick and flint plinth and weatherboarded walls, topped by an old tile roof. A gabled cart entrance is on the south side. There are lean-to additions to the left and one with a continuous roof on the north side, along with a single-storey extension at the west end. Inside, the barn has four bays featuring curved braces connecting the tie beams, which in turn support curved principals and double purlins.
