Description

Burden's Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the northeast side of The Street in All Cannings. The cottage is timber framed, with some sections replaced by colourwashed brickwork. It is a single-storey building with attics and has a core consisting of two bays. There is a gable lobby entry leading into the hall bay and an inner room. A cross wing, which has three bays, was added to the right side below the stack, and there is a lean-to at the left end. The cottage features a 20th-century boarded door set in an open brick and thatched porch, along with paned casement windows.
