Description

Strangeways is a 17th-century cottage located on the east side of The Street in West Clandon. It is timber framed and clad in whitewashed brick, topped with a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right. The cottage has one storey and an attic, featuring a central dormer with a wavy-edged gable. At the rear right, there is a large offset end stack. The ground floor includes two casement windows and a door located centrally in a gabled porch. Inside, the cottage has step-chamfered ceiling beams and a deep brick fireplace.
