Description

Lilac Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the northeast side of The Street in All Cannings. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick noggings and has been extended by a two-storey brick bay added in the 19th century at the north end. The cottage has also been enclosed with various 20th-century additions. There is a lean-to structure beyond the gable stack of the original two-bay core. The framing consists of two panels high. The original entrance position is unclear, and the door is now located at the rear. The cottage has paned timber windows and a flush dormer on the south bay at the rear.
