Description

The barn to the east of Rewsalls Farmhouse dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with black weatherboarding and a timber frame made of oak and elm, featuring five bays. The structure has ties on hanging-knees, lapped collars, and side-purlins. The roof is made of corrugated iron, covering the ridge and gables. The barn includes side-girts that are joggled, with primary wind-bracing positioned above and below the girts. The midstrey has been removed.
