Barn. c.1700. Timber-framed. 3-bay barn with projecting gabled porch to central bay at east side. Wall frame with heavy studding, continuous mid-rail and arched wall braces. Face-halved scarf joint to wall plate. Jowled end posts and jowled main posts to tie beams with later struts and tenoned braces, two replaced with knee braces. Roof has curved wind braces tenoned to purlins. Group value with Brierley Hall and Garden Wall east of Brierley Hall.
