Description

This barn, located north-west of Wood Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The structure is five bays long and features a half hipped midstrey on the south-east side. Inside, there are arch braced tiebeams and curved through wall bracing. The top plates are halved and bladed at the scarfs, and the roof is supported by a queen strut side purlin system.
