Description
Wood Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The main range has two storeys and attics, with a single storey wing to the south, arranged in a double range plan. The house features a window arrangement of three, one, and two, consisting of 18th century vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars and 20th century casements. There are two ground floor bay windows with hipped red plain tile roofs and two gabled dormers. At the rear, there is an 18th century six panel door. The house also has late 17th century red brick chimney stacks at the end walls. It was formerly known as Southend or Henhouse farm.
