Description
Blake Hall Nos 1 and 2 Garden Cottages are two cottages that were originally part of a double range house, dating from the 17th century or earlier. They now have a square plan and are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. The cottages feature a hipped roof covered with red plain tiles and rise to two storeys. The front has a three-window range with 20th-century casement windows. A central door is framed by an 18th-century moulded architrave and topped with a semi-circular fanlight that includes glazing bars, along with a pediment and brackets. A red brick chimney is also present. Inside, the cottages contain stop-chamfered bridging joists, along with 18th-century doors and ironmongery.
