Description
Tudor Cottage and Well House consists of two cottages built in the 17th and 18th centuries, with later alterations. The cottages are timber framed and plastered, featuring red plain tiled roofs and a chimney stack for each of the three sections. The left range is a single storey from the 18th century, while the central range is a two-storey structure from the 17th century, which has a gable facing the road. The right range is one storey with attics, topped by a gambrel roof that is half hipped to the right and includes two flat-headed dormers. This range has a plastered brick facing, dentilled eaves cornice, and two S tie plates. The windows are arranged in a 1:2:2 pattern, primarily consisting of small paned casements. The left and right ranges have vertically boarded doors. Inside, there are edge ceiling beams in the left and right ranges, with stop-chamfered bridging joists and square section ceiling beams in the central range.
