Description
New Hall is a house built in the early to mid 19th century, constructed from gault brick. It features a hipped grey slate roof with projecting eaves and has gault brick chimney stacks at the rear. The building has a plastered eaves cornice and a central band, and it is two storeys tall with a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. The ground floor windows have gauged brick arches and cill brackets. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a fanlight above and panelled bases for the sidelights. A flat canopy with a moulded cornice is supported by square end columns and circular inner columns, both with moulded capitals and bases on panelled plinths. There are rounded and angled bays on the ground floor at the left and right returns. The windows have internal shutters, and the front rooms feature moulded marble fire surrounds.
