Milestone located at the junction of Clarendon Road with Southampton Road, dating from the early 19th century. It is a cast-iron, three-sided pillar featuring shields on two sides that read 'TO SARUM 3 MILES' and 'TO SOUTHTON 19 MILES'. This milestone is no longer situated on the main road due to the construction of a bypass for the A36.
