Description
No. 28 Silver Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a hipped thatched roof with gable end stacks. The building is one storey with an attic and has two windows. There is a planked door on the left, accessed by steps, with a segmental arch above it. To the right of the door, there are two 3-light cast-iron casements, also with segmental arches, and a blocked doorway situated between the windows. The attic dormers contain two 2-light diamond-leaded casements. There is a weather-boarded extension to the right, which is under the same roof. The left side of the building has one cast-iron casement window from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
