Description

The walled garden located to the south of Ivychurch Farmhouse dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of English bond brick featuring lozenge diapering in vitrified brick, with some sections of the external wall faced in stone and flint. This large rectangular enclosure is connected to the ruins of a priory at its north-west corner and was originally the garden of a now-demolished Jacobean house.
