Description
The walled garden walls located southeast of Wolterton Hall date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of red brick in both English bond and Flemish bond styles, topped with red clay pantile capping. These walls form the boundary of a large rectangular kitchen garden, which has a smaller rectangular section adjoining to the southeast. Notably, the north wall is not parallel to the south wall. The structure features some flat brick buttresses and square brick piers that mark the vehicular gateways on the north and south sides of the main compartment. Additionally, there are segmental-headed foot gateways.
