Description

The walled garden, located about half a mile northeast of Wimpole Hall, dates from around 1752. It is constructed of red brick, with some sections made of burnt brick, using English bond. The main entrance is situated in the south wall, featuring two piers topped with ball finials. In the north wall, there is another doorway with segmental heads that includes an early 19th-century iron gate adorned with radial bars at the top. Surrounding this mid-18th century wall is a later wall made of gault brick.
