Cobbs Wood Farmhouse

Cobbs Wood Farmhouse is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the early 18th century and features a timber frame with a rendered exterior and hipped roofs covered in tiles. A grey brick ridge stack is present. The building consists of two parallel and adjoining ranges, standing two storeys high with an attic, and includes two dormers. On the first floor, there are three mid-19th century hung sash windows with flush frames. The entrance is a baffle entry doorway, and there is another doorway at the east end that likely dates from the 19th century. The rear range may have been added later. Inside, there are several doors with fielded panels and a dog or child's gate in the Chinese style at the top of the staircase.
