Description
Gardener's Cottage is located on the north side of the walled garden at Wimpole Hall. This house dates from the 18th and 19th centuries and is constructed of red brick with some plaster rendering, topped with a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the west end. It has end stacks and stands two storeys tall. The north front features three twelve-pane recessed hung sashes on the first floor, while two canted bays made of 19th-century gault brick flank the doorway. The south front, which faces the garden, is plaster rendered and has very few windows. The cottage is included in the listing for its group value with the surrounding structures.
