Description

Gardener's Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed from reddish-brown local brick. It features dentilled eaves and a three-course stepped band at the first floor. The gable end has tumbled-in brickwork, and the roof is swept pantile with raised brick verges and end chimneys. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. There is a blocked entrance to the right, with the current entrance located on the east gable wall. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, which have flush wood architraves and stone cills.
