Description
Glebe Cottage is a house and cottage, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown local brick and features dentilled eaves along with a three-course stepped band at the first floor. The building has a coursed cobble plinth and rendered gable ends, topped with a swept pantile roof that has raised brick verges. An off-centre ridge chimney is present. The structure is two storeys high and has three Yorkshire sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor shows segmental brick arches, indicating some alterations to the openings. No. 1 is two bays wide with a central panelled door beneath a soldier arch, flanked by Yorkshire sashes. No. 2 is one bay wide, featuring a panelled door on the left and one Yorkshire sash window.
