Description

Manor Cottage is a cottage, likely dating from the late 16th century, with alterations from the 18th century and later. It is timber framed and encased in reddish-brown local brick, except for the first-floor front. Corbelling projects from the gable ends, and the roof has raised brick verges and a pantile covering. End chimneys are present. The timber frame is of two bays, exhibiting close studding with arch braces. 20th-century brick extensions have been added to both ends of the building. The cottage is two storeys high, with two modern casement windows on each floor and a modern, off-centre front door.
