Description

Gardener's Cottage is a late 18th century building with 19th century alterations and an addition. The lower part is constructed of red brick, while the upper portion is made of yellow brick. It features a hipped slate roof with lead dressings and has two wall stacks. The cottage has a two-storey, three-bay front with an embattled top rising from a moulded string course. The central entrance consists of a panelled door flanked by single plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are three additional similar windows, with a smaller plain sash window located between the left-hand pair. All openings have segmental brick heads.
