Description
East Lodge and gate piers, built in the late 18th century, are constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. The building features a hipped slate roof with a central and two wall yellow brick stacks. The lodge has a single-storey front with five bays arranged in a 1:3:1 pattern, where the central bays are advanced and topped with a pediment. The entrance includes a central half-glazed panelled door with a plain wooden surround and a narrow hood, flanked by small glazing bar lights and single glazing bar sash windows. The foundations of a tetrastyle portico, which has since been demolished, are located before the central bays. To the left, there is a small lean-to extension. On both sides of the lodge are the gate piers to Brocklesby Park, which are square pillars topped with domes.
