Description

This is a milestone dating from the late 18th century, located in a lay-by approximately 300 metres south of Bridge Farmhouse. It is made of limestone and features a weathered top. The front of the pillar is inscribed with the distances: "SARUM/10/SOUTHTON/12". The milestone has been retained in its original position following road improvements.
