Description

This is a terrace of five houses located on Park Road in Torquay, dating from the 1840s. The buildings are of Tudor style construction, with plastered walls and a gabled slate roof supported by stacks with brick shafts and decorative bands.

The symmetrical front elevation has a 3:1:3 window arrangement, with the central bay projecting forward and topped with a gable. Coped gables and a platband at first-floor level add visual interest. The doorways are moulded Tudor arches, and the front doors are plank with cover strips. Windows are set within chamfered surrounds and fitted with two- and three-light casements, each light containing two panes. The projecting central wing features hoodmoulds above the windows.

The interior has not been inspected, but may contain features typical of the period.
