Description
This is a terrace of four houses, numbers 1, 3, 5, and 7 Fielden Terrace, dating from the mid-19th century and built in a Vernacular Revival style. The houses are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and have a slate roof. They are two storeys and have an attic. Each of the four bays features a doorway with composite jambs and a depressed Tudor-arched lintel, which is itself chamfered, above a double-chamfered mullioned window of four lights with matching detailing. Gabled attic dormers are present, adorned with cusped barge boards. The terrace has coped gables and four well-dressed stacks rising from the ridge. This is a well-preserved example of a modest but complete terrace.
