Description
This is likely an 18th-century or earlier small house located on Fore Street, Torquay, originally built as one property with number 21. The construction combines cob and stone rubble with a thatched roof, half-hipped on the right side, and a rear chimney with a stone rubble shaft. The plan consists of a single-depth main block, featuring a passage entrance flanked by rooms, with a later addition to the rear. The exterior presents a two-story asymmetrical facade with timber casement windows, some with glazing bars. The eaves of the thatch arch over the single first-floor window. A 20th-century front door is centrally positioned between windows. There is one first-floor window and one second-floor window on the right end wall. The interior retains some exposed carpentry.
