Description
No. 13 Wellington Street is a house in a terrace, built in the early 19th century. The front features slate hanging, with an asbestos slate roof and two brick lateral stacks at the rear. The house has a double-depth plan, consisting of two front rooms on either side of an entrance hall or passage. It stands two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical three-window front, with the doorway located to the left of centre. The windows are likely original hornless sashes, although the glazing bars have been removed. The doorway is pilastered and has a moulded hood supported by consoles, leading to a mid-20th century panelled door. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included in the register as a complete and rare example of a small terrace house in this vernacular tradition.
