Villa in planned group. c1827 by John Foulston. Stucco with stucco detail; dry slate hipped roof with projecting eaves; rendered stacks over the side walls. Double-depth plan with entrance hall behind left-hand front room. 2 storeys; 2-window-range garden front and symmetrical 3-window entrance front to left-hand return. 2 pane sashes. Garden front has 1st-floor balcony with ornate cast-iron balustrade carried on slender columns with large capitals and scrolled spandrel brackets. Enclosed porch with moulded entablature and round-arched openings. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest. Road-frontage railings are included as a separate item.
