Villa in planned group. c1827 by John Foulston. Stucco with plinth and sill band; bitumen-grouted slate hipped roof with paired brackets to projecting eaves; rendered stack on right. Double-depth plan with entrance behind left-hand part. 2 storeys; 2-window-range garden front; symmetrical 3-window entrance front to left-hand return. C20 windows and French windows to ground floor. Garden front has 5-bay verandah with glazed roof carried on slender cast-iron columns. Entrance front has enclosed porch with heavy moulded cornice. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest. Road-frontage railings included as separate item. Part of a fine group of villas by Foulston.
