House at end of row, returning to Governors Lane. Mid C19. Rendered, slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 windows to each frontage, all 4-pane sashes. Set to eaves in plain reveals to the second floor, flanked by canted oriels with cornices, that to the left on a deep flared skirt, and all these with separate small cast-iron balconies. Centred is a 6-panel door with transom light, and to the right, taken round the quadrant corner and with corner glazed door, a late C19 shop front in pilasters and with deep fascia. On the quadrant corner is an arched sash at first- and second-floor level, each with decorative cast-iron balcony as the main front, and on the return front are 3 sashes at the eaves, and a panelled door with transom light at the ground floor. A gable stack to the left of the East Street front, and 2 stacks at the eaves on the return front. INTERIOR: not inspected.
