Description

Raleighs is a C16 attached cottage, significantly altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The cottage has rubble-stone walls, which are rendered, with recent brick infill to the first floor. Some vertical studding is visible on the first floor. The roof is covered with Roman tiles, featuring a brick stack at the left-hand gable, dating to the 19th century or later. It is a two-storey building with three windows on the ground floor, each containing a 3-light iron casement with lead lights set in renewed wood frames. The first floor has smaller 3-light casements in wood frames. A plank-and-muntin door, dating to the 20th century, is located just left of centre.
