Description
The Singing Kettle is an attached former shop, now functioning as tea rooms, dating from the early 19th century, with a possible earlier core. The building features rendered walls that are painted white and has a slate roof with a gable end on the left side. There are brick stacks located at the left gable and the right party wall. The structure is two storeys high and includes dormers.
On the ground floor, there is a shop front with large windows, each divided into three sections. The front is enhanced by recessed pilasters and a moulded wooden cornice above. The central front door is multi-glazed with one top light, while a plank door on the right side is a 20th-century addition. The first floor has three sash windows with thin glazing bars, and there are two dormers featuring 2-light casements with hipped slate roofs.
