NETHERBURY FILFORD Pomice Cottage, (formerly listed as Fowler's Dairy, Lower Filford

Former Farmhouse. Late C17. Rubble stone walls. Thatch roof with stone gable-copings. CW, brick stacks at left and right hand gables. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 3-light stone mullions (ovolos) with mainly C20 metal casements and lead lights. Continuous label over ground floor windows, not stepped up. Front door, just left of centre, with straight chamfered stone jambs, and a very depressed-arch head. Plank door, renewed, C20.
