Description

Kingsland House is a detached house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick walls in a Flemish bond pattern, with a slate roof featuring stone gable copings. Rendered stacks are located on the left and right-hand gables. The windows are sash windows with thin glazing-bars, stone cills, and crown glass, each having a gauged brick head. The front door is positioned at the centre, accessed via a rusticated stone archway over a two-leaf wooden door with recessed panels and a fanlight containing glazing-bars. A rear wing extends from the centre, with a hipped slate roof and sash windows. A 19th-century red brick wing is attached to the left-hand side, also incorporating sash windows.
