Description

This is a 17th-century barn located at the rear of Strode Manor Farmhouse. It features rubble-stone walls and a corrugated asbestos roof with stone gable copings and apex blocks. The barn has a central entrance with double-leaf plank doors and a loft door in the east wall, which is topped by a segmental brick arch from the 19th century. Inside, there are six raised jointed crucks that are soffit-pegged with collars, along with a diagonal ridge-piece.
