Description
Luccombe Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the late 18th century. It features dressed stone lias walls and a Roman-tile roof with stone gable-copings and level kneelers. The farmhouse has renewed brick stacks at both the left and right gables and stands two storeys tall. The front has four windows, which are three-light wooden casements with iron centre lights and wooden cills, all topped with stone arch-voussoirs. The front door, located to the left of centre, is a plank door with six glass lights and a wooden frame, dating from the 20th century. At the rear, remnants of the original outshut can be seen with pentice stone-copings, although the current outshut is made of rubble-stone and has a flat felt roof. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings at the front of the house, set on a stone sleeper wall.
