Description
North Bowood Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It features stone walls that are rendered, with slate roofs and stone gable copings that have level kneelers. There are rendered stacks at both the left and right gables. The building is two storeys high and has three windows on the front, which are sash windows with thin glazing bars. There is a rear wing that is also two storeys tall and has three windows, which are casements with glazing bars. The front door is centrally located, made of wood and studded, and features a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, dating from the early 19th century. The porch is supported by octagonal stone columns and has four-centred arch openings with a crenellated parapet.
