Description
Beechview and Holly House are two attached cottages from the 18th century located in Stoke Abbott Village. They feature rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof, which is gabled on the left side and hipped on the right corner. The cottages are two storeys high and have three windows, including two- and three-light wooden casements with wooden cills and lintels, as well as small single-light windows.
The front door of Beechview is a plank door with studs and has a wooden lintel above it, dating from the 20th century. Holly House has its entrance on the side wall and includes a range of three windows, along with a one-bay extension that has a Roman-tile roof. The entrance features a flush-panel door from the 19th century, and the porch has a hipped slate roof supported by two iron shafts, with elliptical framing around the entrance.
