Description

Congregational Chapel, likely dating from 1838, constructed of dressed stone with a slate roof featuring stone gable-copings. The building is single-storied and has three round-headed windows facing the road. These windows have central wooden mullions with Y-tracery heads, and intersecting leaded lights at their heads. A two-leaf plank door is set within the gable wall, surmounted by a semicircular fanlight and glazing-bars. According to G. French’s book, Stoke Abbott, West Dorset, page 17.
