Description
Two attached cottages were built around the middle of the 18th century, although they have been considerably altered in the 20th century. They are built of rubble stone with a thatched roof, hipped at both ends. Brick stacks rise from the hip apices on the ridge, one on the left and one on the right. The cottages have approximately five windows, each with 2 or 3 lights, and fitted with 20th-century metal casements containing glazing bars. A single plank door is located to the left of the centre, with a wooden lintel above it. Stone porches are positioned at the left and right of the front, each containing a wooden door within its side walls and covered by a pentice tile roof. Inside, exposed ceiling beams are visible.
