Description

Higher Kershay Farmhouse is an early 19th century detached farmhouse. It is constructed of rubble-stone walls with a slate roof featuring stone gable-copings. Brick stacks are present at the left and right hand gables. The farmhouse has two storeys and originally had three windows, all sashes with glazing-bars and crown glass. A central door is flush-panelled with three top lights. A brick porch, also from the early 19th century, features a round-arched entrance and a slate roof with stone gable-copings. A plank side door is located in the west gable.
