Description

Waytown Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It features rubble-stone walls with a rendered upper storey and a thatch roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located to the left of centre and at the right-hand gable. The building is two storeys high and has five windows, which are wooden casements with three and four lights, including iron opening lights. The stone surround to the window on the right-hand ground floor is now without its mullions. The doorway, located approximately at the centre, is a plank door with one glass light, dating from the 19th century. A thatch porch canopy is supported by two posts. Inside, there are deep-chamfered ceiling beams on the right-hand ground floor.
