Description
Stonebridge is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatch roof with gable ends, along with brick stacks at each gable. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills, set beneath stone voussoirs. There is a stone label above the middle window. The front door, located just to the right of centre, has stone moulded jambs and a depressed-arch head within a square surround. It is a plank door with strap hinges and one glass light. An outbuilding with a pentice roof is attached to the east gable end. Inside, the farmhouse has deep-chamfered ceiling beams with filleted stops, and two open fireplaces that feature re-set wooden lintels.
