Description
Church Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the late 17th century. It features coursed rubble-stone and chalk block walls, topped with a thatch roof that is half-hipped at the right end. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand ridge and the center ridge, with a gable end facing the lane. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, which are two- and three-light wooden casements with glazing bars that have been renewed. A 20th-century segmental brick arch is present above the three-light window. There is one blocked doorway in the center and a front doorway on the west elevation, which has a plank and glass panel door from the 20th century. The porch is made of stone and weatherboarding, featuring a hipped slate roof. Inside, the farmhouse has mid-chamfered ceiling beams.
