Description

Box Cottage and Southlands are two attached cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They have walls of dressed stone and a continuous thatched roof, with a half-hipped section on the right-hand side. Brick stacks are visible at the left-hand gable and along the left-hand ridge. The cottages have two storeys and three windows, each with 2-light and 3-light wooden casements. Wooden sills are present. The left-hand front door has glass panels and a 20th-century stone porch. The right-hand front door is a 19th-century plank door with a lozenge pattern of glass panels.
