Description

Mount Cottage is a detached farmhouse dating to around the 17th century, with 20th-century replacement windows. It has stone walls covered in rendering and a thatched roof, with a hipped shape on both the left and right sides. A brick chimney stack is positioned at the left centre. The building is one-and-a-half storeys high and has three windows, each with two lights and wooden frames containing glazing bars. Wooden sills are present. The windows are 20th century replacements. A 20th-century plank front door is located to the left of centre, sheltered by a thatched porch canopy supported on wooden struts.
