Boarsbarrow Farmhouse

Boarsbarrow Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century or later. It features roughly dressed stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable copings and scrolled kneelers. There are brick stacks at each gable end, which were added in the 20th century. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and 20th-century wooden cills. The stone lintels above the windows have keys. The front door, located at the center, is a four-plank and studded door from the 19th century. There is a 20th-century rubble-stone porch with a concrete tile gabled roof and a 20th-century two-leaf outer door with glass panels. At the rear, there is a wing off the west end that is also two storeys high, featuring a hipped thatch roof. A brick stack is located on the ridge of this wing, and it has sash windows with glazing bars from the 19th century.
