2/161 Boarsbarrow Farmhouse

  • II Detached Fannhouse. Mid C18, or later. Roughly dressed stone walls Thatch roof with stone gable-copings and scrolled kneelers. Brick stacks at each cable end, C20. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars. C20 wood cills. Stone lintels with keys. Front door at centre, four-plank and studded, c.C19. C20 rubble-stone porch with concrete tile gabled roof. C20 2-leaf outer door, with glass panels. Rear wing, off west end, 2 storeys, with a hipped thatch roof at rear. Brick stack on ridge. Sash- windows with glazing-bars, Cl9.
