Description

Loders Hall is a former vicarage, now a private house, dating to the 19th century with a substantial early 16th-century building incorporated. The building is constructed of rubble stone with a clay tile roof featuring decorative ridging. Brick and stone stacks are located on the irregular north elevation, with two on the north gables. One eastern gable stack is of 16th-century origin and projects from the building. The house is of 1½ storeys, with five windows exhibiting irregular fenestration. The north elevation, viewed from east to west, features a four-light wooden casement window, the projecting stone stack, a front door with a plank and segmental head (19th century) set within a brick porch, two trefoil-cusped single-light windows with lozenge leading (16th century), two two-light cast-iron casements (19th century), a long sash lancet window with marginal glazing-bars (19th century), and a stone stack with set-offs. The west and south elevations feature wooden canted bays with pointed heads.
