It features rubble stone walls and a thatch roof, with 20th-century brick stacks at the left gable and ridge. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with two horizontal glazing bars and wooden lintels above. The frames are pegged wooden. There are three half-dormers, each with three-light wooden casements that include glazing bars and wooden cills. The front door, located to the left of center, is made of wood with two large panels and a grille near the top, dating from the 20th century. The porch has rubble-stone walls and a clay-tile pent roof, also from the 20th century.
